Here are 2 things you need to do today:

1. Write down your goal for this effort.
What are aiming to achieve through this effort? Is that you watch to take a new direction in your career? Are you currently unemployed and you are looking to quickly get hired? Maybe you want to start or promote your consulting services? Whatever it is, write it down. And be clear… specify exactly what you are looking achieve and by when. Keep it short, simple and specific.

2. Identify 5 relevant job online postings.
These must be jobs that a) you’d like to have AND b) your skills and experiences are a good fit for. Do the same if you are a consultant (because this helps to uncover the in-demand expertise that you have and others need.) Copy and paste the descriptions and requirements for all of these jobs into a single, text only document. (I’ll tell you what to do with this doc in the first lesson.)
